What a great event for Ian’s Trust. We had the mini beans strutting their stuff in UL on Saturday taking part in the 1km kids race, and they did it in style..
Then on Sunday the first official Bean Team took to the streets of Limerick. We had marathon runners, relay marathon runners, half marathon runners and 6 milers. All of different ages and ability but all with one goal in mind to create an awareness and raise funds for children with Acquired Brain Injury.
We had a quiet moment before the race where we released some balloons in memory of a true super hero Ian Bean Cusack.
Great fun was had by all and the Bean Team were evident all over the city.
To all who took part and all who sponsored and supported them thank you to the moon and back..
